Newborn Photography
Newborn sessions take place in my cozy home studio and are best scheduled within the first 10 days of your baby’s life, when they are still extra sleepy. These sessions are relaxed and baby-led, typically lasting about 1.5–2.5 hours depending on how your baby is doing. I like to allow plenty of time for feeding, cuddling, and soothing as needed.
Your session includes 10–20 carefully edited portraits, delivered in a beautiful online gallery. You’re welcome to download, print, and share your images however you like, with full personal-use rights.
Birth Photography
Birth photography is captured in a natural, photojournalistic style, documenting the real, powerful, and emotional moments of your journey through the birth experience. Rather than posed images, I quietly observe and preserve the story as it unfolds. The number of photos depends largely on how long your birth is, but in general, you can expect 50–150 meaningful images from your birth day. All images are delivered in a private online gallery where you can download, print, and share your photos with full personal-use rights.
Your fee also includes my on-call time, meaning I’m available for you day or night, weekdays, weekends, and holidays, beginning at 38 weeks until your baby arrives.

Something I hear often from new parents: “I barely remember my birth!” The foggy memory of a woman’s birthing time occurs because of the birth hormones flowing through her veins. High levels of oxytocin and beta endorphins provide pain relieving, time distorting and calming effects, but also make it hard to recall the details of the day. This is where birth photography comes in! Documenting your birth through timeless photography is such a powerful way to memorialize this life changing event so you can have those memories (and jog a few others) for years to come.
Depending on the length of the birth I usually end up with 50 – 150 pictures to document every detail of the day. I edit, crop and customize each photo individually. Because birth can be messy I provide each picture in both color and black and white. In an effort to really capture your day and tell the story of your birth, I shoot in a photojournalistic style with no posing, flash, or sound.
